Summary (Scope of the Job)

The Estimator is responsible for estimating Rental projects, food service/Catering projects, environmental projects, and emergency response by gathering proposals, scope of work, specifications, and related documents. In addition, they will estimate labor, material, and time requirements in order to compute the overall cost of the project.

Key Responsibilities

Position requirements and responsibilities will include but are not limited to

• Assist/take lead on creating proposals for all rentals (Restroom Trailer, showers trailer, office buildings, Base Camps, etc.).

• Assist in putting catering proposals together for events all the way to emergency response proposals.

• Review and compile Complex RFPs for long term contracts and/or contingency contracts.

• Assisting and handling multiple day-to-day style estimates/bids at one time.

• Create Partnership with vendors to procure assets and equipment for bids.

• Work with Project Managers with project specific requirements and streamline timelines.

• Build Estimates utilizing pricing from Client's Scope of Work, Project Team Site Walks, and Vendor Pricing

• Open to Travel to job site

• Estimated travel would be 10% and include overnight/weekend trips as needed

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Experience:

• 4+ years estimating experience

• Writing proposals for a variety of different projects

• Creating estimates utilizing pricing from our contingent partners

Knowledge and Skills:

• Able travel including overnight/weekends, both domestically & internationally as business needs arise (REQUIRED)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Word

• Proven communication skills and ability to build relationships

• Proven organizational and problem-solving skills

• Good driving record

• Minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age and have a minimum of three (3) years verifiable driving experience

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• No repeat seat belt violations

• No high-speed moving violations in the past 3 years
