    Job Description:

    Our client is looking for a Project Manager tooversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. The Project Manager will review the status of projects and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports. The Project Manager will assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. The Project Manager will develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients, and other stakeholders.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate with team members to prepare technical project proposals.

    • Support the planning and monitoring of project execution, including monitoring budget spreadsheets, and helping keep projects on track in terms of milestones and timelines.

    • Coordinate and facilitate external procurements.

    • Structure efficient workflows for sizable engineering teams (20+ members).

    • Plan and organize technical meetings including coordination of technical presentation materials.

    • Coordinate activities and logistics with external organizations, vendors, and collaborators.

    • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate field exercise logistics.

    • This role does not involve people management.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science related field with the ability to understand the technical efforts of the project but does not need to be hands on with the technologies.

    • Strong technical background in engineering and science based.

    • Strong organizational skills including experience in tracking technical efforts and tasks, planning and organizing meetings, and managing inputs and deliverables.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to coordinate effectively with members of multi-functional and multi-organizational teams.

    • Experience with coordinating IT infrastructure or information management projects is a plus.

    • Experience working on U.S. Government programs is preferred.

    • Familiarity with FCC or NTIA licensing processes is a plus.

    • Exposure to contracting and procurement regulations (FAR and DFARS) is preferred.

    • Exposure to technical projects utilizing experimental aircraft is a plus.

    • Due to the nature of the work, an Interim clearance is required, however an active Secret clearance is highly preferred.
