Summary

Lighting Project Managers work hand in hand with our Sales Team to help coordinate order and delivery of project materials. This position is customer-facing and requires great customer service skills. Lighting Project Managers will be ordering commercial and residential lighting from vendors, coordinating delivery to our warehouse and then final shipment to the jobsite.

Reports to: Manager

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience

• Familiarity with Office Suite

• Be able to write and speak in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent knowledge through job related experience and training

• 2+ years of prior Commercial Lighting Project Management experience preferred

• Excellent customer service, problem solving, and communication skills - both verbal and written

• Possesses or has the ability to develop long term relationships with superior interpersonal skills

• Strong math & Microsoft Office skills

Working Conditions

Working conditions will be standard to an office environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Essential Job Functions

• Receive & review project information handed off be a member of our quotes/sales team

• Confirm job handoffs are complete and pro-actively identify discrepancies

• Provide lighting submittals in a timely manner for customer approval

• Review returned submittals, confirm required information for release is approved

• Enter customer orders into Job Management system and release PO's to vendors

• Manage the project and ensure our customers are provided continuous updates

• Coordinate deliveries between our warehouse(s) and customers

• Work with customers and rep agents to develop solutions to job issues as they arise

• Perform job closeouts at project completion

• Other related job duties as required

Compensation Range

The compensation range for this position is $27 to $33 hourly.
