Our reputable client is seeking a Property Accountant to join the company. The Property Accountant should have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and property-specific systems, as well as experience in accounting and property management. If you thrive in a fast-paced work environment that requires the ability to balance multiple responsibilities, this may be the role for you.

How you will make an impact

• Support the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls

• Maintain payment schedules, including capital lease

• Coordinate and examine financial data and report it in a clear, useful manner

• Sustain fixed-asset ledger, depreciation and reconciliation

• Assemble reporting packages and financial statements

• Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting

• Create complex account reconciliations and journal entries

Requirements - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Reliable skills in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required

• Previous experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred

• Knowledge of industry specific accounting software

• Multi-Entity or Multi-Location Accounting preferred
