Alameda Health System (AHS) is seeking Psychiatrists for Full Time, Day shifts , in The Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES ) at the nationally recognized John George Psychiatric Hospital.

John George is conveniently located in the San Francisco Bay Area, just south of Oakland. San Francisco is just a short drive away. The department's mission is to provide the best comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health services to adults with mental illness in Alameda County.

Psychiatrists Salary

• Annual Base Pay $363,600 (effective July 10,2022)

• Day shift: 7am - 4pm

Qualifications

• Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine or osteopathic medicine with an MD or DO

• Minimum Experience:

• Prior community mental health services experience

• Required Licenses/Certifications:

• Valid CA License to practice Medicine and Certification in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology

2. SAN positions for weekend/holiday coverage on inpatient and psychiatric emergency services (PES).
