QA/QC Manager

Actalent Life Sciences is partnered with partnering with a food and beverage company In Middlesex County looking for a talented QA/QC Manager to join their team . This is an opportunity that offers competitive benefits, great pay, and room for growth.

Description

Ensure full control of QA core documents (i.e., MMR, BPRs, CAPA), SOP's, QA investigations & reports, CAPA's, and implement activities with the QC and production teams

Provide data analysis in support of customer requests.

Collect data to identify baselines and process measures, and management of report distribution.

Follow standard operating procedures and related systems that ensure company cGMP compliance and applicable regulations.

Ensure processes and practices in and by functional teams at the manufacturing facility, as well as offsite warehouses, are reflective of SOPs and cGMP requirements, including, process and disposing of product returns in a timely manner, environmental monitoring of the production facility, and monitoring performance of Quality Verifications during Production runs.

Issue deviations and conduct material reviews with the oversite and approval of the QC manager

Ensure implementation of QC processes, deliverables and system-wide analytics and support for the organization around improvement initiatives, process improvement, and data mining.

Approval/rejection of all raw materials, packaging materials, finished products, GMP-related documents, labels, forms, laboratory test results, and material specifications

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

BS, or MS in Chemistry, Biology, Nutrition, or related science

Minimum 8-10 years' experience in FDA regulated Quality Control environment including QA documents for manufacturing (Master Manufacturing Records (MMR) and Batch production Records (BPRs) and reviewing deviations). Dietary Supplements and Food industry experience preferred.

Significant knowledge and training in cGMP's
