    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Align with the CARES way - our mission is to help communities determine standardized outcome measures for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest to improve care and increase survival.

    • This means a daily purpose of positively impacting lives by equipping providers with the information they need.

    • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of our products and services.

    • Conduct thorough regression testing to identify any defects or inconsistencies introduced during development or maintenance.

    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand project requirements and ensure that quality standards are met.

    • Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.

    • Document test procedures, findings, and results in clear and concise reports for internal stakeholders.

    • Perform related responsibilities as required.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

    • Or a combination of education, training, and experience.

    • Three years of relevant experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role, preferably with cloud-based SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions.

    • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

    • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Applitools, or similar.

    • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

    • Great analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to interact with stakeholders, comprehend requirements, and explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Certifications in quality assurance or software testing (e.g. ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA, CAST, CMSQ).

    • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

    • Knowledge of and experience with development and testing tools such as SonarQube, JMeter, LoadRunner, Postman, etc.

    • Experience working with onshore/offshore teams.

    NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
