  • Quality Control Coordinator

    Adecco is now hiring for one of the largest health food and supplement companies, and this is your chance to work with them in the San Fernando Valley!

    As a Quality Control Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing purchase order (PO) requisitions, inventory management of general lab supplies, such as solvents, acids, and reagents, generating certificates of analysis (COA) for customer service, and reconciling P-cards.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate shipment of samples to external lab testing or other QC labs and receipt of test reports and entry of lab test result reports in LIMS. Follows up with external labs for adherence to the predetermined schedule for completion of tests and reporting the test results. Updates sample tracking spreadsheet to include all information for all samples sent to outside laboratories.

    • Tracks International samples requiring additional testing at specified intervals. Once testing has been determined as not necessary for that lot, appropriate comments are added in LIMS for justification, and tests are deleted.

    • Inputs Certificates of Analysis (COA) results, conducts calculations when necessary, and follows up with vendors if there is any missing information.

    • Responsible for weekly inventory of general lab supplies, solvents, acids, reagents, etc. Find information for products and equipment, get quotes for QC, Sampling, Micro, and QA, and place orders for the said materials or equipment.

    • Requests for POs for lab supplies and equipment in JDE and reconciles expenses in Concur or via Indirect Procurement's system.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 2 years of college or an Associate's degree required

    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with GMPs and Quality Control or Quality Assurance preferred.

    • Strong Computer skills

    • Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal

    • Statistical and mathematical skills are preferred.

    • Attention to detail.

    Shifts Available

    Shifts are available from Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

    Pay Details: $22.00 to $32.00 per hour
