  • Actalent is hiring for a Quality Engineer

    • Coordinate with purchasing / manufacturing on supplier quality issues

    • Oversee supplier MRB and corrective action process.

    • Maintain supplier quality metrics

    • Assist in preparing sampling plans, FMEAs, control plans

    • Develop test methods and related procedures

    • Conduct and/or oversee product testing during product development and into production

    • Conduct training with Quality Technicians as required

    • Maintain test records (electronic and hard copy) for easy retrieval

    • Perform detailed data analysis and prepare reports

    • Support customer-specific requests including, but not limited to, testing, product certs (COC) and related test data

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • 5 plus years as a Quality Engineer

    • Bachelor's in Mechanical (if no degree then 7 plus years of Quality Engineering)

    • ASQ CQE certification or equivalent experience

    • Knowledge and experience with ISO-9000 Quality Management Standards

    • Experience with Gage R&R

    • PFMEA

    • Experience with statistical software such as SQC Pack or Minitab®

    Open to industry experience from Manufacturing, Automotive or Medical Device

    Nice to haves-

    Proficient in measurement, inspection and testing methods, calibration

    DOD- familiarity with government contracts
