    We're seeking an EHS Professional to play a pivotal role in supporting our Compliance and Quality program at Iron Mountain ALM North American facilities.

    In this dynamic position, you'll lead the charge in developing and implementing EHS and quality frameworks, including adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, R2, and other international standards. Your expertise will ensure our operations meet all national and international regulations, while conducting independent risk assessments to safeguard our assets and services.

    As an integral part of our team, you'll drive EHS compliance initiatives that make a tangible impact on our program outcomes, strategic goals, and business objectives. Reporting to the North America EHS Manager, you'll execute a wide range of compliance-related activities that affect our entire organization.

    Responsibilities :

    • Manage EHS compliance program towards a common goal of disciplined compliance and quality excellence.

    • Document, organize, and maintain the EHS management system and supporting R2 programs.

    • Perform periodic audits on all relative departmental operations and recommend corrective or preventive actions as necessary.

    • Support development of policies and training.

    • Stay current with all applicable regulatory requirements and adjust policies and procedures as necessary to remain in compliance.

    • Interface with internal and external interested parties, third party auditing bodies, and regulatory agencies.

    • Collect and analyze data to diagnose challenges and make recommendations for improvement.

    • Maintain open communication between all levels of ALM.

    • Support compliance organizational strategies by contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.

    • Support the planning, evaluation, and development of policies, procedures and training as they pertain to regulatory and customer compliance requirements.

    • Support the Internal Audits across multiple operational areas, analyze potential information security and other operational EHS risks, escalate findings, assign corrective-preventive actions to key stakeholders, and track progress through to closure.

    • Identify opportunities for improvement, documents trend analysis, develop ongoing training and appropriate action plans to address operational issues and minimize violations of compliance and licensing standards and requirements.

    • Support sales team through completion of prospective customer RFPs and audit requests.

    • Perform annual benchmarking exercises and provide results to the management team and modify the roadmap with approved plans as necessary.

    • Manage EHS compliance-related vendor relationships.

    • Coach and support staff to ensure they have the necessary tools, resources and supportive feedback needed to optimize performance and ensure established team and individual goals are achieved at the highest quality level, in a timely manner, and within budget; develop staff members to their professional potential, foster teamwork within the compliance program, and ensure ongoing support to all internal and external customers.

    Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:

    • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, EHS Management, Compliance, Quality Assurance, or closely related field

    • 3-5 years' progressive experience in EHS compliance, or Quality Management

    • Previous experience working with and interpreting EHS compliance standards and frameworks.

    • Strong candidates will also possess knowledge in the following additional areas: ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, R2 and other industry standards.

    • Strong communication; written and verbal skills. There will be frequent interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

    • Willingness to travel up to 20%.

    • Familiarity with technical assessments and audit methodologies.

    • Strong Project Management skills.

    • This highly collaborative role requires strong listening skills, as you will be actively involved in evaluating process gaps and the development of new processes.

    • Ability to work autonomously while managing both short and long term project goals.

    • Strong organizational skills and steadfast attention to detail to manage fast paced and demanding requests from internal and external stakeholders.

    • High resourcefulness and ability to team with other groups to influence the collection of information required to obtain compliance.

    • Ability to work as part of the team and show professionalism at all times by modeling and demonstrating a positive attitude and positive working relationships.

    • Strong and effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and balance competing priorities and meet deadlines.

    • Strong interpersonal and people skills with the ability to effectively work with a diverse group of people and build strong working relationships

    • Ability to use effective judgment; strong decision making skills

    • Strong analytical skills. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate the value proposition of Risk Management activities to business process owners in order to gain support and buy-in Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google platforms
