    Attention Rehabilitation Techs looking for Per Diem work! The Danbury Hospita -- Main Street Rehab l is looking to grow its team with an early career Rehab Tech. In this role you will assist the clinical staff with patient related activities to help the team optimize productivity. No weekends - preferred candidates will be available to work between M - F 7AM - 8PM - 8 hour shifts. PRN offers flexibility while growing your career within a dynamic team. Qualified candidates must have a High School diploma or GED. Preferred candidates will be bilingual and have BLS.     Summary

    To assist clinical staff with patient related activities to provide efficient services to the patient and to optimize productivity.

    Responsibilities

    1. Maintains multiple treatment areas/rooms.

    2. Sets up and applies all modalities including patient positioning for therapy.

    3. Assists with transfers and gait training.

    4. May assist with selected procedures in wound care; utilizes sterile techniques, prepares and cleans equipment. Assists with medical waste disposal per department policy.

    5. Measures and reports vital signs of patient to therapist.

    6. Meets and greets patients/family members.

    7. Stocks and orders supplies.

    8. Keeps equipment organized and clean & ensures current inspection duties.

    9. Assists with distribution of patient satisfaction surveys. May assist with scheduling and clerical duties as needed.

    10. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.

    11. Performs other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Experience: zero to six months

    Desired: CPR certification preferred. Bilingual preferred.
