As a Technician in Engineering Services, you'll provide solutions and services that help our customers protect and control critical electrical infrastructure and power systems worldwide.

    As a T echnician/Specialist , a typical day might include the following:? ?

    • Apply concepts in the planning, design, testing, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical power systems.

    • Develop and maintain a basic level of knowledge in the detail design practices of SEL protection and automation systems as well as quality standards.

    • Conduct tests in support of department objectives , documenting and reporting malfunctions and identifying/analyzing undesirable trends.

    • Perform wiring modifications and physical installation of electrical protection, control, and automation equipment as required .

    This job might be for you if:?

    • Have the a bility to provide technical service and/or engineering support in an engineering environment

    • Have an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent certification, training and experience

    • A re able to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings and wiring diagrams

    • Willing to travel up to 50 % of the time

    • Familiarity with Autocad , Microstation and AcSELerator Quickset and industry protocols (IEC-61850, DNP, Modbus)

    Pay Range Data

    Technician I $ 25.43 - $ 37.22 per hour .

    Technician II $ 28.79 - $ 43.22 per hour .

    Technician III $ 32.16 - $50 .2 per hour .

    Specialist I $59,900.00 - $89,900.00 per year

    Specialist II $66,900 - $104,500.00 per year

    Specialist III $76,100.00 - $118,900.00 per year

    Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
