Release Train Engineer

Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking a Release Train Engineer to support the Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Common Access Platform (JCAP). The successful candidate will serve at the Fort Meade Maryland site. This position is contingent upon award.

The Release Train Engineer provides high level guidance and is overall responsible for technical aspects of the Agile Release Train (ART) to ensure cross functional teams deliver value to the Joint Common Access Platform. The Release Train Engineer will communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive improvement through coordination between the Contractor s development team, the Government Product Owner and key technical stakeholders.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Must have a Bachelors Degree in the following STEM subjects (Computer Science. Software Development, Data Science)

• 5 years of Experience with large scale agile (e.g., Disciplined Agile Delivery, LargeScale Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework, or Spotify model), and be familiar with Offensive Cyber Operations.

• One (1) year experience in DoD acquisition processes specifically related to software lifecycle management. Release Train Engineer Certification at date of contract award.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Active Top Secret/SCI Eligible clearance with CI Poly

• Master s Degree in a STEM subject, particularly systems engineering, network engineering, or cybersecurity OR Associates or Bachelors degree in computer science, or engineering or its equivalent with 15 years' relevant experience

• Active, Reserve, or National Guard military service with network or cyber security experience as a senior cyber company grade or cyber field grade officer or senior cyber warrant officer

• DoD 8570.01M/ IAMII certification (CAP, GSLC, CISM, CISSP (or Associate)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
