    A company in the Boulder, CO area is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join their team in support of a Defense Program. This position requires x4 days per week in Boulder, CO location and x1 per week at site in Aurora, CO. Candidates should be self-starters with the ability to work independently and need strong communication and a mindset to overcome daily challenges. The Cyber Security Engineer will provide knowledge of effective RMF-based policies and procedures to include familiarity with all controls, assessment and security overlay for both technical and administrative/documentation procedures. The Cyber Analyst will be responsible for A&A process for system accreditation, kanbans, POA&Ms, reviewing and producing technical security assessments/documentation of computing environment, as well as supporting multiple systems.

    This is a hands on technical position and candidates should have experience directly running ACAS, SCAP compliance checker and STIG viewer as well as a background with basic Unix commands. System or network administration experience is a plus.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility

    • Must be willing to obtain CI Polygraph

    • Bachelor's Degree and 5-15+ years of related experience in Cyber Security

    • Strong understanding of RMF process and NIST 800-53 controls

    • Technical experience running ACAS scans, SCAP Compliance Checker and STIG viewer

    • Basic understanding of Linux OS

    -AIT Level 2 Certification such as Security+ (or equivalent) - Familiarity with eMASS or XACTA

    - Experience with Splunk tool

    - Familiarity with RSA preferred

    - Experience with Networking (Cisco hardware, understanding of basic networking - IP, Subnet, VLANS, etc)

    - Systems Administration experience

    - CISSP certification

    • Experience leading or mentoring others null
