We are looking for a Security Operations Program Manager to be part of the Microsoft Security organization and be a steward of Microsoft and take care of our customer's data. A core function of Microsoft DSR is ensuring the security of every aspect of the business. Microsoft DSR is responsible for company-wide information security and compliance, with a strategic focus on information protection, assessment, awareness, governance, and enterprise business continuity.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the day-to-day operations of cross-functional security programs, bridging the gap between business operations and security.

    • Drive continuous improvementsating customer feedback and key metrics into actionable operational improvements and product features.

    • Manage program budget which includes analyzing historical data to generate accurate across the program by transl cost projections, implement cost reduction initiatives, establish process optimizations, and negotiate with 3rd party suppliers

    • Provide input on how to mitigate active security incidents and lead the operational execution of these mitigations

    • Support security policy rollouts with user communications, customer support and documentation.

    • Develop PowerBI Dashboards to track key program metrics for leadership and internal customers.

    Qualifications

    Required/Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

    • OR equivalent experience.

    • 1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

    • 2+ years of Security Experience.

    Other Qualifications:

    Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

    Additional or Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

    • OR equivalent experience.

    • 4+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

    • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

    • 4+ years of IT Asset Management experience.

    • Understanding of security fundamentals such as hardware security, vulnerabilities, and risks.

    Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
