  • Adecco is partnering with a client in search of a Senior Accountant/Financial Reporting. This Senior Acccountant/Financial Reporting position is a full time, permanent employment opportunity.

    Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    • Assist Manager, External Reporting with quarterly responsibilities of external financial reporting supporting 10-Q/K and 8-K filings.

    • Collaborate on additional projects and analysis requirements as requested by senior management.

    • Provide analysis to identify solutions to accounting issues and assist in the implementation of new accounting rules.

    • Conduct analysis on technical areas such as pension, lease, and revenue recognition accounting.

    • Support the Finance team in monthly close and consolidation functions.

    • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements within areas of responsibility.

    • Offer support and technical guidance to senior accounting leaders on special projects, including on-site operations/control reviews.

    Requirements include but not limited to:

    • Minimum of 3 to 4 years of demonstrated success within a public accounting firm or mix of public accounting and private industry experience, including audit or related financial experience.

    • Emphasis in manufacturing and SEC experience is desired.

    • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with a worldwide financial team.

    • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

    • Impeccable integrity and ethical behavior.

    • Ability to exercise judgment and professional skepticism.

    • Strong technical and research abilities.

    • Master's degree in accounting, preferred.

    • Blend of Big 4 public accounting audit experience (e.g., Deloitte) and private industry experience within manufacturing, preferred.

    • Diverse client base experience, with a focus on manufacturing industry and other sectors such as retail, renewable energy, insurance, etc, preferred.

    • Proficiency in systems such as Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros), SAP, and Tableau

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting required; Advanced degree and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation strongly preferred.

    Salary :

    $82,000-120,000
