We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our client's growing team. The successful candidate will oversee various financial activities, ensuring the financial operations' accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role will involve collaboration with the accounting team and other departments to support organizational objectives. Responsibilities

Financial Transaction Oversight: Ensuring accurate recording and processing of various financial transactions across different ledgers and sub-ledgers, such as general ledger, banking, revenue, billing, accounts payable, and fixed assets.

Month-end Close Processes: Conducting activities necessary for the monthly closing of financial records and ensuring timely preparation and submission of required financial reports to support senior leadership.

Reconciliation: Regularly reconciling subsidiary accounts to ensure balance in assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses.

Controls and Compliance: Assisting in the development and maintenance of effective financial controls to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Collaboration: Working with the accounting team and other departments to ensure accuracy of entries, timely payments to vendors, effective collections, and collaboration on financial analysis and process improvement.

Financial Analysis: Reviewing and analyzing balance sheet and income statement accounts to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and improve internal controls.

Variance Analysis: Preparing and/or reviewing explanations for monthly variances to understand deviations from expected financial outcomes.

Special Projects: Undertaking various special projects as needed to support organizational objectives.
