  • Overview: A family-owned CPA firm in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago is hiring for an experienced Sr. Auditor to join their team on a permanent basis. This person will work with small business clients in the manufacturing, engineering and construction spaces.

    Description

    • Manage audit process for small business clients, mainly manufacturing, construction, and engineering.

    • Meet on-site with clients occasionally, all clients local to Northwest suburbs

    • Examine companies accounts and financial controls

    • Gauge levels of financial risk

    • Review companies financial reports and ensure records are accurate and reliable

    • Identify if and where processes are not working, and serve as an advisor on potential change

    Qualifications

    • 5-10+ years experience in public accounting as an auditor

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

    • CPA is a PLUS not a must-have
