The AbbVie Business Technology Solutions (BTS) team shapes the digital transformation necessary for our treatments to positively impact patients' lives.

The Sr. Business Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in the digital product lifecycle contributing to the development and management of digital technology programs supporting AbbVie's US commercial Therapeutic business areas of Immunology, Oncology, Neuroscience, Eye care, Specialty etc. This role entails a deep understanding of all aspects of the Digital Product lifecycle for the respective business areas while managing the product business requirements from concept to production launch.

In this role you'll be responsible for:

• Development of a range of technology products in product teams from ideation to operation in a digital landscape

• Epic and story grooming, contributing to solution design and generation of cost and timeline estimates while adhering to defined SLAs.

• Attending daily "standup" style meetings to review project status and ensure the team remains on track.

• Collaborating with a matrix team of Product Owners, Analysts, Scrum Masters, Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, Testers to deliver technology products to the business.

• Compliance with applicable AbbVie policies and procedures

• Working with minimal oversight; SLAs are met, projects are delivered on time, delays are proactively communicated to avoid escalation.

Qualifications

Experiences that are required for this role

Required

• Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years' experience or a Master's Degree plus 4 years' experience.

• Experience developing, managing development of technology applications.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build trust, listen, and ask effective questions with the goal of creating a scalable and reusable business solution along with effective partnerships.

• Innovative thinking and the ability to leverage past business technology experience to be successful in an entrepreneurial fast paced environment.

• Strong IT Management, Analysis, and digital skills.

• Ability to self-manage time and priorities.

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the drive to take on new challenges.

• Strong IT analysis and communication skills.

Beneficial

• 2+ years of technology experience in a digital marketing organization with websites and their capabilities.

• Experience with leading and managing Agile projects in a digital ecosystem.

• Hands on experience with JIRA and Smartsheet.

• Work experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
