    We are currently seeking a Senior Operations Manager to work at our contractor site in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area supporting a large data and cloud opportunity in the civilian space.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide ongoing O&M for all software, applications, tools, hardware, system connections, websites, data feeds, and environments

    • Develop and recommend a strategy for maintenance and new workloads and releases needed to repair/upgrade existing code, release new code, upgrade security to address new threats, resolve security findings

    • Assist the Senior Security Manager with security audits and security monitoring

    • Reconcile and forecast monthly revenue with managers responsible for profit centers

    • Operate an analytic and technical help desk to support users with research analysis as well as technical questions

    • Manage Government Furnished Property (GFP) in the environment and maintain and publish the current inventory in an online documentation repository

    • Maintain the client's web site to operate 24 hours a day for users which contains information on how to obtain data and access, documentation of the data elements and file structure, user guides, data dictionaries, frequently asked questions,

    • Ensure that Help Desk resources are available and responsive to the end user community

    • Perform other duties as required and assigned

    Requirements :

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

    • Active ITIL v3 or higher certification

    • 5+ years of experience in IT operations

    • Experience managing federal IT projects that include data management, data strategy, and cloud solutions.

    • Experience with one or more different Agile methodologies including Scrum, Lean, SAfe

    • Experience preparing project cost estimates to include but not limited to, labor, travel, equipment and software

    • Successful client reporting and customer liaison experience

    • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Project and accounting software

    • Professional written and verbal communication skills

    • Ability to make sound independent judgments within established policies and procedures

    Preferred

    • Master's Degree in related field of study or equivalent years of experience

    • Operations Management experience supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
