    We are seeking a Fiber Manager to oversee its material handling, stock prep and recycled fiber operations. The position has responsibility for approximately 45 hourly operators, working closely with 3 Paper Machine Managers to support day-to-day operations and develop long term improvement strategies to drive results in all aspects of the business. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience working in, leading recycled fiber operations with a strong technical knowledge of these systems and related equipment within the paper industry. Responsibilities: · Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance of the Stock Prep, OCC, and Material Handling equipment · Monitor and assess equipment performance and identify areas for improvement · Develop reports and presentations to communicate results and progress · Perform troubleshooting when needed in all areas of Fiber Operations · Help develop and implement capital and maintenance projects related to the Fiber Operations · Develop training and educational programs for Fiber Operations personnel · Develop and maintain strong relations with internal personnel as well as external contractors · Provide technical support and guidance to Fiber Operations personnel · Maintain a safe and secure working environment

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of experience with paper making/recycled fiber operations - Paper Science or Engineering degree preferred - Experience working with refining, pulping, screening, and detrashing systems - Experience working with an ERP system is a plus
