  • The Hybrid Networking Product Management team is designing the networking services that get customers into Azure, bringing the physical world to the cloud! We're hiring a Senior Product Manager to work across these services to enable a cohesive, customer focused portfolio. Come help us make this critical Azure area even more successful!

    As a Senior Product Manager your focus will be on reliability, supportability, and security of some of our top Azure Networking products including ExpressRoute and Azure Virtual Private Network (VPN). You'll work with senior developer leads, and other Product Managers in our team and across other service teams to make our services the most reliable they can be. This will be a visible, challenging, and rewarding experience! You'll be learning and working with key network technologies (Boarder Gateway Protocol (BGP) and IPsec), ensuring we are operating them in the most secure manner possible, and providing reliability and stability based on direct customer feedback.

    Responsibilities

    • You will drive business impact across the organization and track success criteria for multiple feature areas. You'll also identify long-term investment opportunities and engage partners to garner support for those feature areas.

    • You will help define a feature set and facilitate mid-level usability reviews with customers. You'll collaborate with the team on the product roadmaps for multiple feature areas and with a partner teams to enable that roadmap for your assigned areas.

    • You will scale Product Marketing teams by helping build marketing, roll-out, and customer support plans. You'll also promote the feature areas you worked on and present at large events (in-person and hybrid).

    • You will partner with others to collect performance metrics and form hypotheses for complex technical needs in order to improve product development in targeted areas. You'll also identify features to deprecate, manage customer communities, and build trust with targeted customers.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifcation:

    • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.

    • OR equivalent experience.

    • 2+ years of experience with cloud services.

    Other Requirements:

    • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

    Additional / Preferred Qualifcations:

    • Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management

    • OR software development.

    • OR equivalent experience.

    • 2+ years of experience with networking technology (cloud or terrestrial), especailly IPsec and BGP.

    Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
