    WSP has a new opportunity for a full time Senior Project Coordinator to join our office in Denver, CO . Be involved in projects with our Mining Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.

    In this role you will monitor and control project progress and support the Project Manager in achieving objectives throughout the project lifecycle. You will use your knowledge and expertise to anticipate project?requirements,?take?initiative?in?decision?making and?be?able?to?pre-empt project?issues?while working?collaboratively with the Project Manager.

    Your Impact

    • INITIATION

    • Assist with proposal initiation including risk and opportunity assessment

    • Assist with identifying any applicable Authority and Responsibility Matrix (ARM) triggers

    • Develop ARM approval requests for Project Manager review

    • Setup or coordinate setup of proposal in Oracle CX

    • Coordinate resources to develop the proposal in a timely manner

    • Develop the proposed project schedule for Project Manager review

    • Develop the project Work Breakdown Structure for Project Manager review

    • Coordinate proposal review, approval, and submittal

    • Develop project execution plan for Project Manager review

    • PLANNING

    • Coordinate the project setup according to the WSP Project Delivery Manual

    • Prepare and monitor Basic Work Orders

    • Coordinate logistical requirements for the project team such as travel and mobilization

    • Develop and track HSSE requirements and associated plans

    • Interface with the accounting team to ensure compliance with client invoicing requirements, prepare invoices and assist with facilitating timely payment

    • Coordinate and monitor project contracts, change orders, and other documentation for sub-consultants, contractors and vendors

    • Identify and mitigate sub-consultants, contractors and vendors risks

    • Assist with the identification of project risks and maintaining the project risk register

    • Maintain project documentation

    • Maintain compliance of senior review requirements on project deliverables

    • MONITORING AND CONTROLLING

    • Develop and maintain the project schedule

    • Develop and maintain the project cost tracking tools

    • Monitor budgets, expenditures, and project deliverables

    • Develop and maintain Earned Value Management progress

    • Prepare change orders and maintaining client communications related to change orders

    • Facilitate timely review of prebills and invoicing to clients

    • Follow-up and meet with Client's accounting team to ensure a smooth Accounts Receivable cycle

    • Support the Project Manager with a strong focus on reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) on submitted invoices

    • CLOSING

    • Assist the Project Manager to confirm final project documentation and archive

    • Facilitate document handover to the client

    • Facilitate final invoicing and payment

    • Assist with gathering feedback from client, subcontractor and subconsultant and providing to the team

    • Assist with documenting lessons learned

    • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

    • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

    Who You Are

    Required Qualifications

    • 5 years of experience in related project support in a multi-disciplinary environment

    • Experience creating and monitoring project plans, schedules and budgets for multi-disciplinary projects

    • Working knowledge of project management principles and PMI's Body of Knowledge

    • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint

    • Experience working with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project to produce detailed independent schedules and network diagrams
