    Job Description

    As a Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure for federal planning and design projects. You will serve as project manager on a variety of challenging and complex projects for the firm and will organize, coordinate, and lead multi-discipline project teams to ensure successful execution. These projects will include vertical facilities (dormitories, hangars, dining facilities, visitor centers, etc.), horizontal facilities (roads, trails, airfields, utilities, etc.), and water resources (dams, channels, flood-plain management).

    Responsibilities

    • Maximize the pursuit and delivery of projects, partnering with leaders to utilize the capabilities of our talent across the firm.

    • Oversee project team's adherence to Federal guidelines and design criteria.

    • Work across teams and with design professionals to ensure deliverables are on time and to the client's satisfaction.

    • Lead design-build proposals and provide complete designer of record services as part of the design-build team.

    • Communicate project status and updates to all stakeholders and ensure all parties are aligned with project goals and timelines.

    • Determine scope, complexity, planning, and scheduling requirements of large projects.

    • Monitor project performance and progress, including tracking project milestones and deliverables, utilizing project management technologies and best practices.

    • Identify project performance issues and develop corrective action plans.

    You bring to the team:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, planning, landscape architecture, business, or related field preferred

    • Minimum of 12 years' experience in the industry

    • Minimum 10 years' experience in project management

    • Project experience with a variety of clients; including the US Army Corps of Engineers, Army, Air Force, Navy, Veterans Affairs, and National Guard-Bureau.

    • Proficient in engineering, design, and plans & specs production

    • Knowledge of federal design criteria

    • Federal experience in both stand-alone project contracts and on-call/indefinite delivery contracts

    • Experience with Federal Statement of Qualifications submittals

    _*Typical salary range for this position is $138,000 to $198,000 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position._
