Our location in Alameda, CA currently has an opportunity for a Scrum Master, which will be focused on conceptualizing, designing, and developing these innovative software products. This person can also go into our Bend, Oregon and Orlando, Florida office. #software

    This is a fully on-site role. Candidate must be able to make it in on-site to our Alameda CA, Bend OR, or Orlando FL location.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Facilitate the activities of multiple scrum teams, spanning multiple product platforms

    • Coach Product Owners, Developers and other team members and/or organizational stakeholders in the application of Agile practices, processes & mindsets

    • Effectively draw from a multitude of skills & capabilities to influence team members & unblock scrum teams

    • Use Agile principles & processes to help with meeting sprint goals within the target iteration, meet quality standards, stakeholder expectations, and business needs

    • Lead scrum teams & foster a strong collaborative ethos within your teams

    • Coordinate development dependencies that span multiple teams and know how to track team progress in JIRA

    • Communicate team progress, identify risks, and escalate issues to leadership & project stakeholders in a timely fashion

    • Help define KPIs to monitor team performance and facilitate continuous improvement and increasing transparency

    • Serve as a 'change agent' to evangelize Agile methodologies, drive experimentation and new ways of working, and persevere through cultural, process and other obstacles

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

    Required

    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent

    • Business, Computer Science or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

    • At least 3 yrs. experience in software development

    • 2+ years of experience on Agile development teams

    • Deep understanding of Agile development practices

    • Ability to effectively navigate ambiguity and competing priorities

    • Proven ability to work with diverse personality types

    • Situational awareness, conflict resolution, interpersonal communication and facilitation skills, empowerment

    • Demonstrated ability to implement useful metrics to help team(s) identify opportunities for improvement

    • An orientation toward Servant Leadership, whose focus is removing impediments and enhancing the capabilities of an Agile team

    • Experience in coaching, mentoring, cross-functional scrum teams and working with tools such as Jira & Confluence

    • Experience working with teams/team members who are geographically distributed

    Preferred

    • Experience in applying Agile methodologies in regulated environments, preferably in a Medical Device field and with knowledge of Design Control regulations and requirements

    • Experience with driving adoption of Agile methodologies, processes and tools in a cross-functional organization

    The base pay for this position is $109,300.00 - $218,500.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
