Senior Tax Accountant

System One is assisting a Tulsa company with a search for a Senior Tax Accountant. Will work with others who excel in their areas of expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and review of Federal and State Income Tax returns

• Involved with calculating the tax provision and the quarterly estimated tax payments

• Assist with the preparation of monthly sales and use tax returns

• Gather supporting data for internal and external requests including transaction tax audits and research related issues

• Pull information together in support of property tax filings

• Assist with the calculation of the foreign tax provision and financial statement reporting

• Handle notices from taxing authorities seeing them through to resolution

• Research tax issues and positions, both domestic and international, documenting recommendations

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 2 - 5 years of income tax experience, preferably in public accounting

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, CPA or CPA eligible highly preferred

• Federal and state income tax return preparation experience required

• Sales and use tax return preparation experience, a plus

• Strong Excel skills and good with computer systems

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

• Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Takes initiative with a strong work ethic

• Ability to work across different time zones and cultures

Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 (Depending on Experience)
