    Global Operational and Resilience Risk (ORR) is a sub function of Group Risk. Its purpose is to make sure HSBC understands, and is in control of its non-financial risk position. In addition, the function provides resilience risk stewardship to the Global Business and Functions and the entities we operate in.

    As our Senior Senior Vice President Operational and Resilience Risk Wholesale/Market Security Services you will:

    • Ensure the integrity and timely completeness of risk and control identification, assessment and information within the Group's Risk and Control system of record (Helios) as well as directing documented remediation plans for residual risks

    • Conduct thematic reviews to ensure that risk and control environment is commensurate with the scale and nature of operations

    • Support their area of responsibility on their ORR management and acts as a key contact and escalation for senior stakeholder engagement throughout, making sure delivery is consistent and of high quality

    • Support with embedding the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and provides advice, guidance and challenge in relation to ORR oversight and internal control effectiveness

    • Provide Second Line of Defense (2LOD) oversight of top and emerging risks, ensuring the function/region can mitigate these timely and cost effectively

    • Attend Wholesale Banking, including aligned Product control meetings and non-financial risk governance forums, providing both Operational Risk oversight and robust and timely Risk Steward challenge of the First Line of Defence (1LOD) view of the resilience risk profile as required

    • Develop and promotes an increasingly insightful process based view of ORR risks

    • Ensure the integrity and timely completeness of risk and control identification, assessment and information within the Group's Risk and Control system of record (Helios) as well as directing documented remediation plans for residual risks

    • Maintain Steward attention on all Resilience Risks with a primary focus on Payments and Transaction Processing

    For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $150,000.00 and $225,000.00

    The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

    Qualifications

    You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

    • Maintain Steward attention on all Resilience Risks with a primary focus on Payments and Transaction Processing

    • Maintain excellent communication and influencing skills and possess gravitas and strong leadership type traits

    • Have good knowledge of Risk Management frameworks, with a focus on Non-Financial Risk Management

    • Consistently and eagerly work on enhancing and upgrading his/her skills leveraging internal and external sources

    • Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude and work ethic and works well in the teamwork environment

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and demonstrates an innovative and proactive approach to building new and advanced MI and reporting analytics

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent at minimum; graduate degree a plus
