JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Shipping position aims to ensure shipments are dispersed accurately in a timely, cost-efficient manner. The Shipper will work alongside warehouse staff to deliver quality products to customers. To be successful, you must also be approachable, energetic, and transparent, as you will interact with all levels, from suppliers to customers and from our newest employees to senior management.

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to

• Effectively use programs that enable accurate shipping (i.e., QuoteWerks, UPS World Ship, ~~~, Serial Number Viewer, FAAC Label Maker, Wasp Label Maker, Microsoft Office, etc..).

• Put products from a container in currently assigned locations.

• Notify the Supervisor of any discrepancies in the Warehouse or Shipping.

• Assemble kits properly and efficiently.

• The shipper assists in moving orders and lifting boxes onto the delivery truck.

• Accurately calculates the shipping cost for all orders using weight and measurements.

• The shipper will pick and pack items to fill and complete outgoing orders correctly.

• Creates shipping invoices, labels, and relevant documentation.

• Ensures destination/postage information is correct, tracks order delivery, and responds to customer shipment inquiries.

• Works with customers to resolve interrupted, lost, etc. issues.

• Maintains the inventory of shipping supplies.

• Monitors shipping processes to devise new, more efficient delivery methods. Communicate effectively within Shipping and Receiving

• Other duties as assigned.

• Hours are 8 am - 4 30 pm (Monday - Friday)

• Weekly Pay - you receive a paycheck every week
