    Trane in Louisville, KY is hiring a Project Site Superintendent to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for all site related project activities

    What you will do:

    • Responsible for timely completion, quality control and customer satisfaction of assigned projects.

    • Plan and analyze assigned projects, validate schedules and project parameters and set procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications.

    • Site management and organization

    • Scheduling coordination of all trades

    • Issuing necessary site documentation - Document control for design documents and drawings

    • Ensures adherence to health and safety regulations

    • Inspect construction site occasionally to identify and remove potential safety hazards

    • Performing equipment, material, and routine site inspections.

    • Maintain daily labor and status logs for site

    • Weekly Site coordination and status meetings

    • Works with Project manager for creation and tracking of RFIs and design changes

    • Responsible for day-to-day on-site communication with customer

    • Create and revise project schedules including generating tasks, estimates, dependencies; milestones, CPM Analysis; Histogram and Risk Analysis.

    • Review and have thorough knowledge of all subcontractor contract scopes, as well as standard terms and conditions.

    • Supervise work of project assigned staff, subcontractors, and installers.

    • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff.

    • Establishes professional relationship and communicates with field support staff, customers, and their representatives. Interfaces constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews.

    • Responsible for maintaining project as-built drawing redlines sets

    • High percentage of time on active job sites is required, which may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms etc. While on site, the employee may be exposed to variable weather conditions; moving mechanical parts; heights, and other variable environmental conditions based on location.

    • Travel with occasional overnight stays required depending on project location.

    What you will bring:

    • Associates and/or technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Minimum five (5) years' experience in commercial construction.

    • HVAC installation knowledge/experience is preferred

    • Excellent organizational and communication skills

    • Must be detail oriented

    • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents

    • Experienced and knowledgeable in contracting processes and subcontract management.

    • Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years; Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
