Linux Platform Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a Linux Platform Developer to work with a leader in the Med-Tech industry! The developer will perform a variety of development and production operation activities including, programming, and transmission of various devices!

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, improve, upgrade and maintain Embedded Linux OS platform for medical devices.

• Analyze, design, develop and maintain sophisticated software

• Development, improvement, upgrade and bug-fixing of software tools used for configuration and testing of embedded systems

• Verification of various Embedded Linux features including security testing

• Participate in Requirement analysis, System Design and Risk analysis and build related documentation.

Required Skills:

• Embedded Linux, C, C , Shell Scripting

• Understanding of Linux kernel and device drivers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of various Linux subsystems like USB, Networking, Wifi, Cellular, Bluetooth

• Familiarity with Cross platform software development using cross toolchain (such as that for ARM)

• Knowledge of medical device software development and testing

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is [$54,300 - $119,490/year]. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
