    The role:

    The Enterprise Data Quality Assurance team is responsible for creating and maintaining testing frameworks that automate test plans used to ensure that Enterprise Data Real Time products are of high quality before launch. We are seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer with programming/coding skills to help us develop automated testing tools and frameworks using the Bloomberg API. The team works with Product/Business teams and Engineering to:

    • Create test strategies

    • Identify and document defects

    • Identify and remove bottlenecks preventing the agile delivery of releases

    • Drive continuous improvements of testing tools and processes

    • Research solutions to address client needs

    We will trust you to:

    • Strong attention to details and dedication to efficiently work problems to resolution

    • Utilizes judgment, and collaboration skills to interact positively and communicate appropriately with team members, management and other stake holders

    • Be able to do a thorough unit and regression testing

    • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and industry trends

    • Displays a positive "can do" attitude when troubleshooting or problem solving

    • Be able to prioritize and ensure projects complete on time (no need to push comp date for QA reasons)

    • Be proactive, rather than passive and reactive

    • Identify risks and escalate appropriately to key stakeholders

    • Produce high quality documentation of test execution

    You'll need to have:

    • Familiarity with one or more of the following languages: C++, C#

    • Experience with .NET Core

    • Knowledge of financial markets and asset classes

    • Understanding of agile QA concepts, practices, processes and tools

    • Demonstrable experience with developing automation of QA functionality

    • Experience working in Linux and Windows environments

    • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

    • Exemplary presentation, training and communication skills in English

    • Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States and will not require visa sponsorship now or in the future

    We'd love to see:

    • 2+ years experience in a software QA role with automated test tools

    • Experience testing or using an API to build solutions & familiarity with the Bloomberg API

    • Knowledge of market data systems

    • Experience with PostgreSQL

    • Web development and testing tools acumen

    • Knowledge of cloud computing services: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform

    • Experience with technology such as Git, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, Jupyter Notebooks, JavaScript and ~~~

    The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.

    Salary Range: 120,000 - 170,000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
