SR ACCOUNTANT Opportunity

Anna Parson at Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Sr. Accountant with strong Excel skills and QuickBooks Enterprise experience to join a Distribution Serivces client.

As the Sr. Accountant, you will:

• Perform monthly accounting close procedures and prepare journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

• Continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

• Prepare and present Balance Sheet account reconciliations for Prepaids and Accruals

• Assist in tracking inventory

• Process full cycle Accounts Payable for multiple entities including vendor reconciliations

• Work on special projects as assigned by Controller

Seeking a Sr. Accountant withe advanced Excel skills and strong GL and problem solving skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years of overall general accounting experience

• BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

• The ideal candidate will be highly-skilled with exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)

• Strong familiarity with Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

• Accounts Payable (AP) experience

• Month end closings experience desired

• Knowledge of Ledger Account Analysis

• Adeptness in Credit Card Reconciliation

• General familiarity with accruals

• Account reconciliation experience preferred

• Demonstrated knowledge of Prepaids

• Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision

• Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

• Skilled at time management

• Great attention to detail
