  • What You'll Do

    We're looking for a Sr Data Engineering Leader to join our Enterprise Data & Analytics department. In this role, you'll lead the Workforce Data Team and help bring modern engineering capabilities to drive enterprise strategy!

    • Provide data engineering and analysis expertise to enhance effectiveness across multiple technologies and services.

    • Shape broad architecture; make an obvious positive impact on the company's technical trajectory.

    • Act as a technical consultant and sounding board, providing guidance and support to the team. Assist in evaluating different options, troubleshooting technical issues and offering insights on implementation decisions.

    • Foster an environment of autonomy and trust, empowering the team while leveraging technical expertise to provide valuable input and direction.

    • Make recommendations on future technical trends/directions that encompass multiple systems and teams to meet business initiatives.

    • Advocate and promote the team with business stakeholders, technology partners, and the department in general. Build strong relationships within and outside the department.

    • Mentor and coach team members to elevate their skills and career trajectories.

    • Demonstrate impactful influence across business units to drive alignment and innovation.

    • Responsible for staff recruitment, performance assessment, training and career development. Set clear goal expectations for members of a team.

    • Foster ownership and expertise in designing all software layers to deliver comprehensive solutions.

    Who You Are

    • You have a Bachelor's degree plus 8+years related work experience or a Master's in related field plus 4 + years related work experience

    • You have solid leadership and presentation skills

    • You are able to collaborate with others and able to effectively communicate strategies and designs to all levels of the company

    Skills That Will Help You Stand Out:

    • Ability to work directly with data and datastores through programming language such as SQL, Python, Java, etc

    • Experience with cloud based technologies such as AWS and Snowflake

    • Experience with a variety of data modeling techniques and data structures

    • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams

    Salary Range Information

    Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

    Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

    $123000 - $167000 / year

    Time Off Program

    Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

You'll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
