Sr. Financial Analyst

Description

We are in search of a Financial Analyst II to join our team in Salem, New Hampshire. This role involves comprehensive financial analysis focused on revenue and cost of goods, forecasting, budgeting, and implementing reporting systems. The chosen candidate will need to collaborate across all functional areas, providing insights and solutions to drive performance in our fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building out the financial planning function with an emphasis on providing quality management information and furthering the development of systems, processes, and metrics

• Support the production of detailed budgets and forecasts to support short-term and long-term strategic planning

• Develop and report on key financial pricing, sales, and operational data/metrics in dashboards and forecasts

• Work directly with various business and functional leaders to support them in developing their strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts

• Provide data and trends related to customers, suppliers, and markets that inform the understanding of key trends in the business

• Support the financial analysis function with an emphasis on performance improvement and providing relevant and timely external analysis

• Analyze cash flow, cost control, and expenses, and collaborate with various business and functional leaders to suggest and implement improvements

• Perform economic and industry analyses to identify and recommend response strategies to trends impacting the business

• Monitor the company's performance in context of external market benchmarks and internally tracked KPI targets

• Research and investigate financial and operational performance variance issues and assist business leaders in taking appropriate corrective actions.

Requirements - Proven experience as a Sr. Financial Analyst with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.

• Proficiency in CapEx and CRM.

• Familiarity with Data Mining Techniques.

• Strong knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions.

• Experience with the 'About Time' software.

• Comprehensive understanding and experience in Accounting Functions.

• Expertise in Budget Processes and Expense Reporting.

• Proficiency in Finance and Power BI.

• Industry experience in Consumer Goods Industries is desirable.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
