    About the Role

    Lead teams of high-performing iOS/Android engineers to build an architecturally sustainable codebase with millions of MAU and ever-growing share of Gap Inc's eCom revenue. Partner with the Product Manager to define a road map, work with other product teams to provide guidance. Set team goals and technical direction, ensuring an emphasis on quality (code coverage, test automation) and alignment with the larger organization. Participate in and lead code reviews and proof-of-concepts. Collaborate with other product teams to provide guidance, requirements and get feedback on their code and yours. Interactions with third-party vendors will also be required, as we leverage a variety of SDKs for payment, printing, and other peripheral integrations. Monitor and manage team performance, set goals, coach, and develop engineers. Telecommuting permissible anywhere in the US.

    Who You Are

    Requirements : Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related role.

    Experience and/or education must include:

    • Mobile App Engineering;

    • Mobile eCommerce;

    • Android and iOS experience;

    • Mobile test automation, for both Android and iOS, as well as a clear understanding of an ideal test pyramid to drive the highest possible software quality; and

    • Building world-class retail apps supporting in-store and digital experiences.

    Salary Range: $166,300 - $246,000 USD

    Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
