The Senior Principal Project Manager leads or leverages cross functional teams internally or externally to evaluate, develop and manage projects for research and technology.

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION
The degree should be in Physics, Applied Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related areas.
The degree should showcase practical work in front-end engineering through solving significant clinical gaps in current and novel markets.

Management:
o Experience managing junior and senior engineers including vendors, and manufacturers - creating a mission driven culture across groups.
o Experience in financial modeling, budget management and forecasting
o Experience in assembling and managing a team of experts with varied domain expertise.
o Experience mentoring reports to nurture their interest, understand their strengths, ,areas of improvement and goals
o Strong background in clinical study development and execution
o Experience in rigorous iterative product development tied with clinical experimentation, validation, and feedback.
o Successfully facilitated funding from donor organizations or within the organization for personal or corporate projects
o Track record of conducting market analysis and customer discovery leading to new project areas
o Experience in value-based healthcare models.
o Strong background in human-centered design and user-centered design
o Experience with model development and simulation studies.
o Experience in lean product development and agile development methods.
o Experience with Machine Learning, and Deep Learning networks.
o Experience in medical device productization - quality system management, regulatory submissions, manufacturing, and iterative product development.
o Proven track record in developing relationships and collaborating with an international set of varied partners.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
o Strong interest in human anatomy and physiology
o Understanding of the human cardiovascular and respiratory systems
o Ability to grasp medical concepts with ease and depth.
o Familiarity with business model and plan development and iteration
o Expertise in patent landscape analysis and the patent application process.
o Familiarity with FDA regulations and ISO standards in medical device development and IEC standards for software development
o Ability to distill core engineering principles for application in early concepts.
o Prowess with rapid prototyping and design of experiments for a rigorous datadriven approach to product development
o Firm understanding of mathematics and linear algebra used in computational modeling.
o Communication skills that bridge varying roles within the company, hierarchy within the organization, and external partners
o Entrepreneurial mindset - the ability to evaluate, initiate, and execute new directions for the business unit and company, leading projects and assembling teams to execute on reaching outcomes.
Base Salary Range: 120K - 180K
