Sr. Software Engineer

Job Description

An employer is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to help lead the HR Technology development group for one of it's largest tech entertainment clients in Los Angeles. We are looking for an individual who will be willing to be onsite 4 days a week and remote 1 day a week. Below are some of the primary responsibilities:

Build middleware for chatbots, writing custom code to integrate with ML services (e.g., Slack messages)

Work closely with the product and engineering teams to integrate chatbot solutions into our existing systems

Conduct regular testing and debugging to ensure chatbot functionality and update as necessary

Write tests and deploy code efficiently and from scratch

Architect larger applications and delegate tasks effectively to junior team members

Enable the chatbot to make changes for employees and build automations within Workday.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Strong hands-on experience (5-7+ years) with ~~~, JavaScript, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and design concepts

Ability to work independently without existing infrastructure or support.

Proven track record of building applications from scratch.
