Sr. Solutions Architect

Job Description

A large IT Consulting Firm and Value Added Reseller is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join their Presales Team as a seasoned IT professional responsible for assessing customer needs and tailoring customized architectures to fit business and client needs. Their primary goal is to make the best technical decisions possible to positively impact business outcomes and act as a technical advisor to support clients throughout the solution development process. The Solutions Architect will serve as the subject matter expert in key areas such as enterprise networking, security, and data center solutions. This employee can expect the breakdown between client needs to be 60% Enterprise Networking Focused, 40% Security and Data Center Strategy focused. The main areas they will be serving as a subject matter expert on include a heavy emphasis on Extreme Networks and with an additional emphasis on Juniper and Cisco. This solutions architect will require technical expertise combined with strong interpersonal skills to deliver quality service and successful solutions that align with the business goals. This individual will need to sit near or in Overland Park, KS to meet with clients on a 50% basis. Day to day work that is not client facing will have the ability to work remotely.

Strong Presales Engineering experience working customer facing as the SME for technical solutions
