The Strategic Sourcing Specialist II will partner with Lead or Principal Subcontract Specialist to drive the end to end cycle of FAR15 proposals and subcontracts. Starting with proposal, fulfillment of the sales order, and ending with negotiating subcontracts or long-term purchase orders with suppliers. The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will deliver compliant FAR15 package to the government, work closely with the Pricing organization and work with the program to fulfill subcontracts aligned with the program. This is a hybrid position working in office and remotely and can be located in Tempe AZ, Clearwater FL, Glendale AZ, or Phoeniz AZ.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet the needs of our aerospace division

• Identify potential suppliers and conduct supplier evaluations and audits

• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and delivery terms

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services

• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement, supply chain, business, finance, or law and contracts

• Negotiation and contract management experience

WE VALUE

• Bachelor's Degree

• DoD procurement subcontracting experience (FAR 15)

• Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or similar industry
