    Responsible for supervising the daily workflow, which includes data entry of applications, customer calls/emails, application misquotes, system setup errors, policy, adverse letters, medical questionnaires, and state forms being mailed. Provides exceptional quality customer service to our agents, applicants, internal staff, and management.

    Workflow and Performance Management

    • Coordinate, distribute and supervise daily work activities of team members.

    • Ensure effective learning of team members on processes, systems, products, customers, etc.

    • Use quality and productivity audits for training and/or workflow adjustments and facilitate implementation.

    • Work with Senior Manager to set challenging team and individual goals.

    • Provide coaching/feedback to team members and conduct performance appraisals.

    • Be a role model for effective team behavior, supporting team building initiatives and promoting a positive team environment.

    Customer Management

    • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with escalated issues.

    • Maintain accurate information and be professional in all interactions.

    • Coordinate team schedules to ensure adequate phone coverage availability and assist when necessary to maintain service goals.

    Change Management

    • Participate as a project management team member or lead when needed.

    • Provide input/ideas on process improvement and growth that will create value with staff production.

    • Support change initiatives.

    • Other duties as needed/assigned.

    Education & Experience Requirements:

    • A minimum of 2 years direct supervisory experience with proven results in providing coaching, mentoring, and training for staff.

    • Demonstrated leadership experience with strengths in quality management and process improvements.

    • Possesses a strong drive for results and takes initiative.

    • Must be an independent thinker and can learn quickly and seek out new knowledge.

    • Ability to multi-task and display flexibility.

    • Ability to address situations and resolve issues while maintaining a positive work environment.

    • Strong verbal and written communication, time management and prioritization skills.

    • Proficiency in MS Office such as Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook.

    Preferred:

    • BA or BS degree or equivalent work experience.

    • Insurance industry experience
