    Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Supply Chain Manager (K) to support Proprietary Programs in El Segundo, CA!

    As a member of this team, you will continuously develop and manage the structure to enable the pace and performance of the supply chain teams. You will maintain positive relationships with multi-function team leaders and drive a deep understanding of the One Boeing Production System principles and standards, production health, and problem solving.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Lead a team of Supply Chain professionals which includes: authorized agents of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.

    • Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of both goods and services in support of multiple programs, inclusive of supplier assessment/development; requests for proposal development, evaluation, negotiation and contract execution; supplier performance management/improvement

    • Responsible for developing negotiating strategies and managing cost, schedule, technical performance in a dynamic development environment.

    • Partners with program teams and other functional stakeholders including: program management, technical, finance, contracts, quality stakeholders on change management while managing/mitigating

    • Develops, manages and communicates procurement status to Program/Customer through metrics, scorecards and other performance management best practices. This includes developing supplier recovery plans and root cause corrective action plans

    • Identify, plan and execute process improvements.

    • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with suppliers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

    • Manages, develops and motivates employees

    • Proactively performs risk, issue, and opportunity management

    • Ensures compliance with Company and functional policies and procedures; and Customer/Program requirements

    • Develop and perpetuate a team culture of transparency, collaboration, and inclusion

    • This position includes both contracting and business/program facing responsibilities.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

    This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

    Security Clearance/Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • 5+ years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management.

    • 5+ years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance.

    • 5+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor's Degree or higher

    • 3+ years of experience leading proposals, contract terms and conditions development, and negotiation efforts

    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

    Summary pay range: $118,150- $159,850
