    Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

    The Supply Chain Manager will lead the supply chain analytics and strategic initiatives across the end-to-end supply chain. This includes projects, reporting, and analytics within supply chain demand and supply planning, promotions, new product introduction, supply chain master data, supplier collaboration and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) for multiple customers.

    In this 24-7 multi-temp environment, this position is responsible for managing and directing the day-to-day operations of the Purchasing and Customer Service Department. This includes enforcing compliance with expected policies and procedures, providing direction and assistance to supervisors as required, and assisting the General Manager with strategic functions as required.

    Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

    • Provide leadership, mentoring & coaching to the Purchasing and Customer Service Department

    • Ensure team is focused on cross-functional collaboration with Customer, Supply Chain functional groups, Distribution Center (DC) Operations, Suppliers, and any other supply chain partners to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives

    • Efficiently track and act on inventory and purchasing activities for a multi-customer concept center

    • Oversee DC in stock and prevent overstock / out of stock. Provide constructive feedback to management on central purchasing performance

    • Oversee product orders with vendors and communicate with vendors as necessary

    • Communication of promotional events to MB central purchasing in coordination with restaurant service management

    • Manage the supply chain project portfolio including the prioritization of initiatives and timelines

    • Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain

    • Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company

    • Identifies optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution

    • Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions

    • Develop and lead the communication to varying levels within and outside the organization on status updates

    • Partner with key stakeholders to maintain strong and enduring relationships both internally and externally

    • Continuously improve the supply chain to successfully manage the complexities of our customer's needs

    • Create a culture of innovation and process driven to support our customer's and MB strategic plans

    • Oversee development of program risk assessments, including sensitivity analysis

    • Plan, prioritize and delegate work tasks according to fluctuating deadlines

    • Understand and enforce Data Quality Management Program (DQMP) process. Conduct internal audits to verify compliance. Point of contact for external audits

    • Participate in budgeting, operational planning, and procurement decisions within the department

    • Establishes department/DC financial objectives that support financial objectives

    • Knows how their department contributes to overall financial success

    • Uses financial information and knowledge to analyze options and guide quality decision making

    • Through daily operational oversight, identify opportunities for financial efficiencies and work with department colleagues to develop and implement innovations and ideas to that end

    • Demonstrate teamwork and maintain a positive attitude

    • Develop and maintain effective working relationships across the company

    • Ensure a high level of interactivity to maximize co-operation between all departments

    • Communicate goals, objectives, strategies, results, and plans

    • Participate in training, inspection, investigation, and continuous improvement programs

    • Foster an environment of positive employee relations and employee involvement

    • Partner with Human Resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year and any employee concerns are promptly and appropriately addressed

    • Any other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field

    • 6 years of leadership experience as a manager or supervisor in supply chain

    • Must be fully bilingual: Spanish & English, verbal and written

    • Advance skills in MSO suite (Excel, Power Point)

    • Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools such as PowerBI

    • Strong project management skills, proven ability to develop and implement supply chain & logistics solutions

    • Strong business and financial acumen skills

    • Demonstrated track record of leading significant process improvements and managing through change

    • Exposure to distribution, transportation, supply chain & inventory planning

    • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and influencing skills with all levels of employees, management and customer

    • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business objectives

    • High initiative, self-motivation with strong sense of urgency and leadership qualities including a positive approach to managing and interacting with stakeholders

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to create and tailor communications to a wide variety of audiences (verbal and written)

    • Experience in a high-velocity distribution environment would be a strong asset

    • Willing to work any shift and any schedule due to our 24/7 environment and travel, periodically, as required, for travel related to trainings

    • This position must pass post-offer background and drug test

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • Master Degree

    • Supply Chain experience in retail, grocery, or food industry

    • Proficiency in ERP systems (JDE, SAP)

    • Proficiency in forecasting and planning systems
