    Salary Range: $92,185 - 155,000/yr DoE

    Responsibilities

    • Lead materials planning team to ensure material availability for production in accordance with customer and organization's expectationsProactively Manage key and critical supply partners for from product introduction through mass production.

    • Lead efforts on 2nd sourcing for critical suppliers

    • Develop and manage supplier relationship, conduct supplier reviews to ensure suppliers are meeting commitments.

    • Manage supplier schedules by identifying and tracking critical component changes and lead-time analysis.

    • Ensure parts availability does not drive supplier performance

    • Assist in contract packaging, site selection and executing the RFQ process.

    • Ensure quotes are received, reviewed and POs are placed in a timely manner

    • Develop national and local distribution channels to create strategic partnerships via RFP / RFI process

    • Plan and participate in all audits and inspections

    • Perform RFP, cost analysis, negotiations, and selection of all vendors

    • Approve all spend associate with commodities and facilitation of forecast/spend planning.

    • Execute purchase requests in advance to support production schedule

    • Ensure proper movement of material by means of stock transfers and requests for order fulfillment

    • Identify and communicate gaps to production schedule and help in resolving those gaps

    • Ensure material cost meet program budget expectations

    • Help reconcile gaps in ERP signals downstream from top level customer demand

    • Manage performance to supply chain leading indicators

    • Ongoing development and administration of procurement and relationships with our internal and external customers

    • Optimize/streamline business processes to improve efficiency across the supply chain organization

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field

    • 3-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

    • 10+ years Experience with DoD/Aerospace

    • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

    • Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word)

    • Knowledge of ERP/MRP and inventory management systems/software

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to address audiences at varying levels.

    • Strong project leadership and/or management skills in a fast-paced environment with hanging priorities, and an ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines

    Preferred Qualifications

    • APICS certification

    • 2 years of Material Requirements Planning experience

    • 1-2 years of Sales and Operations Planning experience
