    Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator II in Denver, CO.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    The Systems Administrator II supports the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization. They support upgrades to computer components and software, management of virtual servers, and integration of automation processes. They support troubleshooting hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues. They support documentation and technical specifications for planning and implementing new or upgraded IT infrastructure. They support regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures. They support desktop and help desk efforts, ensuring all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions. They support capacity, storage planning, and database performance, and monitor and manage all installed systems and infrastructure. The Systems Administrator II has experience with digital engineering and possesses a solid foundational understanding of digital engineering methodologies. The Systems Administrator II is a journeyman experienced in numerous aspects of configuring and maintaining IT systems. The Systems Administrator II takes direction from more senior personnel.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 4+ years of related experience and Bachelor's degree in a related area OR

    • 6+ years of related experience and Associate degree in related area OR

    • 8+ years of related experience and HS Degree

    • (A candidate holding a relevant master's degree may be granted 2 years' experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years' experience credit for that extra education).

    • DoD 8570.01-m Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification upon date of hire required.

    Security Clearance Requirements:

    • Top-Secret Clearance with Full Scope Poly.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

    • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

    • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

    • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

    The projected compensation range for this position is $79,300-$133,100. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
