Description

The systems engineering focus is support to unmanned, manned, and optionally piloted aircraft platforms and unmanned ground vehicles. The successful candidate must be able to develop requirements, create system design documentation, utilize, and maintain existing analytical models, develop new models, and plan and conduct tests to validate requirements. • Analyzing customer/stakeholder requirements, decomposing requirements, deriving requirements, and allocating requirements to system and subsystem elements

• Developing system architecture for new and existing systems

• Conducting trade studies and performing design research of basic engineering concepts and explorations to determine optimal requirements and system architecture

• Developing test plans and reports

• Developing test cases based on requirements documentation

• Developing system/subsystem interface definitions, system schematics, and system design documentation

• Leading and conducting testing as applicable

• Working in adherence to structured and defined development processes

• Working in conjunction with Software Engineering Team to develop software system requirements and test requirements

• Participating in planning, design, testing, and deployment of moderately complex, engineered systems and software to ensure conformance with functional specifications and customer requirements.
