We are looking to hire an experienced Systems Engineer for a long-term engagement with a well-known leader in the Residential, Industrial, and Commercial climate control domain. This role will have a direct impact on the design and manufacturing of state-of-the-art heating and cooling systems for high-tech applications such as data centers and alternative energy production.

This role will be onsite at our customer facility in New Freedom, PA and will come with a comprehensive benefits package as well as PTO and Holidays

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Control and Software Engineering teams.

• Create new documentation, update existing documentation, and harmonize processes and procedures across the organization.

• Write specs for changes in Matlab Simulink and C/C++ based control systems

• Create and make changes to documentation

• Communicate with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation.

• Ex: Create system requirements by working with various stakeholders and end users. Ensure changes are properly documented and the right team-members are informed

• Produce documentation that conforms to the company documentation and quality assurance standards.

• Release and maintain documents.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent work experience writing technical requirements.

• Experience working as an individual contributor in an engineering environment and following mandatory processes.

• Experience working in electrical engineering, embedded systems, software, or controls. A mechanical background may work if you have experience working with software systems

• Proven understanding of how technical components fit together in a system

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Good organizational skills (task tracking and reporting)

• Strong experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat

Nice-To-Have Skills/Experience

• Experience with document control software is desirable.

• A systems or controls engineering degree is preferred.
