Systems Test Engineer

Description

TEKsystems Customer in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Test Engineer to support on-site, dedicated 2nd and 3rd shift and weekend test bench operations for the Assembly, Integration and Test (AI&T) of a production Space Payload program.

• Responsibilities include executing test scripts for the verification of Software, Hardware, and System requirements for applications in Space.

• Understanding of RF (Radio Frequency) systems, especially RADAR, SIGINT, or COMMS; programming and scripting skills

• Working knowledge of RF test equipment (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, etc.) is desired

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RADAR and/or ESA (Electronically Scanned Array) integration and test

• Experience with Space Payload or Space Vehicle (Satellite) integration and test in a clean room environment

• Programming in C or MATLAB for understanding and editing/improving existing code

• Scripting in Python or Tcl for understanding and editing/improving existing scripts

• Experience with Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket

• TS/SCI clearance for unescorted work
