Tax Manager

Description

Our client, located on the North Shore seeks a Vice President of Tax to join their group, playing a pivotal role in their global tax provision, financial reporting, and compliance processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of provision and compliance experience, with expertise in corporate provision and a preference for those familiar with partnership and international compliance. Responsibilities include overseeing tax provision workflow, managing compliance processes, and collaborating with internal teams and external service providers. Additionally, the role involves participation in system implementations and process improvements.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA (or progress toward), and demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, teamwork, and mentoring. Strong communication skills and a passion for integrating technology solutions are essential.

Requirements

• 7 plus years of proven tax experience as a Tax Director/Manager, in either Corporate or Public Accounting

• Demonstrated proficiency in Annual Tax Provision, Tax Provisions, and Corporate Tax Compliance

• Expertise in Partnership Tax, Partnership Taxation, and Partnership Tax Returns

• Knowledge of U.S. International Tax and International Tax Compliance

• Familiarity with CCH ProSystem fx - International Tax and Tax Compliance Processes

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or CPA Eligible, with CPA Exam completion

• Experience with Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR)

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification is a plus.
