Tax Manager

Description

John Asdell at Robert Half is partnered with Professional Services firm based in San Diego that is seeking a Remote Tax Manager to join their growing tax service group! This Tax Manager can live anywhere in the country as this role will be fully remote indefinitely. This firm is currently about 30 employees and is growing 25% annually. The Tax Manager will possess expertise in various types of tax returns and financial statements, along with proficiency in Excel and tax software.

How you will make an impact

• Assist in the review and oversight of the preparation of quarterly tax projections and communication of required estimated tax payments

• Put together and review complex income tax returns

• Help with compliance of tax and financial reporting procedures and policies

• Determine tax best business practices and relay to tax accountants

• Assist in quality control review for all financial statements

• Prepare and review tax correspondence and facilitation and oversight of tax audits

• Aid in in planning and compliance regarding tax matters, such as waivers and tax returns

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in a tax practice for a public accounting firm

• Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required

• CPA Required
