  • Job Title: Technical Project Manager

    Location: Charlotte, NC

    Pay Range: $50/hr - $60/hr

    What's the Job?

    • Determine project scope, objectives, and resource requirements for complex digital software products.

    • Collaborate with the PMO, Software Development, Architecture, Product Strategy, and C-level management to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of complex, B2B digital software projects

    • Identify resource need for project objectives

    • Integrate with the corporate SDLC

    • Calculate and identify risk; distill and communicate risks and potential mitigation plans for projects impacting high-value customers

    • Leverage and implement industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

    • Prepare, track, and deliver detailed project plans using industry-standard toolsets

    • Deliver scheduled project status reports

    • Perform project analysis to identify when mitigation planning is necessary

    • Collaborate across internal cross-functional team structure and customers

    • Retroactively measure project performance; identify areas for improvement

    • Manage contact with third party vendors to execute tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, manage project progress and adjustment

    What's Needed?

    • Five to ten years relevant experience

    • Experience working within AGILE and Waterfall development frameworks

    • A thorough understanding of best practices managing projects for a software development team

    • Expert-level skill with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices

    • PMP (or equivalent) certification preferred

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skillset

    • Experience working within an AWS-based company a plus.

    • Experience with product migrations a plus.
